The 16" Inset Gas Fire Burner is a decorative gas coal effect fire that fits inside a 16" fireplace opening which also has a standard 16" Milner Fireclay Fireback or Universal 16" Cast-iron Fireback both of which appear on this site.
The 16" Inset Gas Burner is around 25% efficient and while it looks realistic as a coal effect fire the heat output of just under 2kW means that it is mainly decorative and not suitable for primary heating purposes.
The dimensions of the 16" Inset Burner are shown in the diagram below. This needs to fit inside of the fireplace opening with a bit space to spare all around.
Special sizes of gas burner are available upon request, please use our 'contact us' page with the relevant information.
Gas appliances should to be fitted by registered Gas Safe engineers.
