Granite Hearths are robust and very easy to maintain, being difficult to scratch or chip. Our black granite comes from the Shanxi Province in China and is available in a highly polished finish or a honed (rather dull) finish.
Hearths are boxed and lipped (overall height 50mm) and available in standard sizes.
Hearths to suit our timber mantels are 1350mm x 380mm (53" x 15")
Hearths to suit the Ashfield Combination are 1050mm x 380mm (42" x 15")
Other sizes are available upon request.
Hearths used for solid fuel may require to be cut into sections to allow for expansion.
